TRANSCAER® (Transportation Community Awareness and Emergency Response) is a national outreach effort to help communities prepare for and respond to hazardous material transportation incidents. Our free training courses are led by industry experts who volunteer their time to support our mission. Our volunteer members come from a variety of industry sectors, including chemical manufacturing, transportation, distribution, emergency response, and government.
The TRANSCAER Mission:
- Promote safe transportation and handling of hazardous materials
- Educate and assist communities regarding hazardous materials
- Aid community emergency response planning
